I arranged the composition using elements like using different pressures with pencils, a wide range of values and hatching. I think this was a successful composition
I used a wide range of values in this work which is evident in the shading and tinting on the bottles where they would gradually transition from one to another Creating practice studies helped me experiment with and better myself with different values helped improve my piece To blend and transition my objects, I applied different pressures for darker or lighter results, used pencils with different lead types, and I smeared the pencil marks on my paper to make the bottles look smooth The interpretation was incredibly important in capturing the look of the bottles, my interpretation of texture was rubbing the lead to give the bottles a smooth appearance I would rearrange the cloth underneath the bottles more simply because that was the most difficult piece I had to draw because of the creases and shadows in the cloth |
